07:38:48 simgislab: hi all, as I understand mapplotlib is not currently available via osgeo4w, but one of our extensions is using it. Can we include it in osgeo4w? We can work on packaging mapplotlib if this will help.
07:40:02 FrankW: simgislab: I see no reason it could not be packaged for OSGeo4W. Have you reviewed the packaging instructions? Any questions?
07:40:19 simgislab: yep, reading them now
07:40:43 simgislab: no questions yet, we'll go ahead then?
07:40:52 FrankW: Sure.
07:41:11 simgislab: if questions come up I'll bother you again then, thanks!
07:41:25 FrankW: If you make the package available, I can briefly review it and if it looks ok, I can enable you access to the upload server.
07:42:06 simgislab: sounds good
07:45:25 simgislab: FrankW: we've also prepared ukranian translation for osgeo4w, I can plug it to the main page, if you'd like ( will post resource file as a ticket too )
07:46:11 FrankW: If you are interested, I'd be happy to provide you with SVN access on the OSGeo4W SVN and you could more directly maintain the translated resource files.
07:47:41 simgislab: ok, and how about putting stuff on http://download.osgeo.org/osgeo4w??
07:47:42 sigq: Title: Index of /osgeo4w ( at download.osgeo.org )
07:47:54 FrankW: Yes, I'll enable that as well.
07:48:51 simgislab: ok
07:50:47 FrankW: simgislab: OK, you should have svn commit access on the OSGeo4W svn server, and ssh access to upload.osgeo.org using your normal OSGeo userid and password.
07:51:14 simgislab: I'll try not to break anything, thank you
07:51:17 FrankW: I'd appreciate it if you notify the list of changes for a little while so I can confirm things are done as expected.
07:51:39 simgislab: maillist you mean, right?
07:51:50 FrankW: yes, the osgeo4w mailing list.
07:52:30 simgislab: ok, will do
