07:55:07 epifanio: guys, do you know if can i use spatialite table to load a layer into mapserver ?
07:56:39 darkblue_B: spatialite -> new born, mapserver -> old man ;- )
07:56:58 darkblue_B: do they know each other?
07:57:05 hobu: epifanio: likely possible through OGR trunk
07:59:19 epifanio: ah ! yes, i see gdal has "with spatialite" in its configure ... so if i have gdal compiled with spatialite support .. i can load it, hobu is it right?
08:05:47 darkblue_B: --with-spatialite=ARG ? path to sqlite3 lib perhaps?
08:08:45 epifanio: yes i means that
08:11:25 TylerM: epifanio: you probably have sqlite in OGR already
08:11:48 TylerM: ogrinfo --formats
08:12:06 TylerM: i have it already after building from source on the same platform
08:12:19 epifanio: yes i have sqlite but no spatialite in ogr, beacouse on osx i'm using gdal 1.6 not the svn version
08:12:31 TylerM: ah sorry, my mistake
08:13:41 darkblue_B: even though spatialite is sqlite3, you need the spatialite lib too
08:13:50 : * darkblue_B reads
08:14:05 epifanio: yes on osx i have spatialite
08:14:12 epifanio: inside sqlite
08:14:41 epifanio: on linux ( where i have spatialite ) i tried to add "spatialite" in the gdal configure ... but i received an error ( this some week ago ) , maybe i need to retry it
08:16:40 TylerM: spatialite already installed on our linux system too.. no sure which path the GDAL ARG needs.. it didn't pick it up auto
08:16:42 TylerM: biab
08:19:14 epifanio: maybe in a standard path beacouse come from repository ... something like : /usr/lib /usr/include/spatialite
08:21:27 darkblue_B: epifanio: maybe we should move to #gdal for this
12:12:41 aghisla: hi all
12:12:55 aghisla: TylerM: do you have some time now for captcha?
12:14:21 aghisla: ( it's lunchtime in canada now )
