06:30:21 aghisla: ; )
06:30:22 FrankW: I would add, some people use google with special restriction terms to limit it to an area of the list archive.

07:06:45 sigq: Title: Gmane Loom ( at thread.gmane.org )
07:07:16 pramsey: kiorky: if you put a page into the GEOS wiki, that would help anyone coming down the road with the same problem http://trac.osgeo.org/geos
07:07:17 sigq: Title: GEOS - Trac ( at trac.osgeo.org )
07:09:59 kiorky: pramsey: well, the problem wont occur anymore ( in a couple of weeks ), as the dll ( libsdtc++ and libgcc_1 ) will be officially released
07:10:24 kiorky: pramsey: the real job was to track down the problem, but on geos side, i have made anything particular
09:46:08 TylerM: aghisla: perhaps the osgeo women list would be interested in this: http://www.shesgeeky.org/about

10:02:45 aghisla: cool! will be glad of any feedback.
10:13:37 wildintellect: I just noticed that the email announcement you sent out doesn't have the link to join the mailing list - was that an oversight?
10:25:59 aghisla: wildintellect: for osgeo-women?
10:26:08 wildintellect: yes
10:26:22 aghisla: you're right, I forgot - I'll paste it here
10:26:33 wildintellect: oh I know where to find it
10:27:06 aghisla: oki
10:27:26 wildintellect: It was advice for future emails - I plan to forward to people at my university and will add that when I do
10:27:41 aghisla: cool, thanks a lot!
13:40:28 atrofast: I'm using the GEOS C API and GEOSGeom_getDimensions_R function... I keep getting the number 3 back and I've tried passing it different Geometry types such as Polygon, Linestring and Point... Any ideas why that is, am I using it wrong?
14:12:08 spatialguru: sry atrofast- guess most of us aren't too savvy on geos : )
14:13:39 spatialguru: or so it seems
14:21:25 pramsey: atrofast: use the source luke. I'm pretty sure someone asked me this a month ago, and the answer was... because it's hard coded in there.
14:24:49 atrofast: Thanks pramsey, will do
